VLT Player

Privacy Policy

The short version: VLT Player has no accounts, no analytics and no advertising. We run no servers of our own, so there is nothing for us to collect. Your playlist credentials stay in the iOS Keychain on your device.

Who we are

VLT Player is an iOS application developed by Velit Tolga Musto. Contact: tlgmst@gmail.com.

What we collect

Nothing. We do not operate a backend. We do not create an account for you, do not assign you an identifier, and do not receive analytics, crash reports or usage data.

What stays on your device

Playlist credentials — the server address, username and password of the IPTV service you already subscribe to. The password is written to the iOS Keychain with this device only protection. It is never transmitted anywhere except directly to your own provider, in order to load your content.
Preferences — theme, subtitle and playback settings, metadata language.
Viewing data — favourites, watchlist and continue-watching positions.

iCloud sync

If you are signed in to iCloud, your favourites, watchlist and viewing history sync between your own Apple devices using Apple's iCloud Key-Value Store. This data travels between your devices through your own Apple ID. We have no access to it and it never reaches us. You can stop this at any time in iOS Settings by turning off iCloud for VLT Player.

Who your device talks to

Your IPTV provider — the server you entered during setup. VLT sends your credentials there to fetch your channels, films and guide. We are not affiliated with your provider and we do not see this traffic.
TMDB (themoviedb.org) — to fetch posters, descriptions, ratings and cast for the titles in your playlist. The request contains the title being looked up and your chosen metadata language and region. It contains no identifier for you or your account.
Apple — subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We never see your payment details, and we receive no personal information from Apple.
An XMLTV guide URL — only if you choose to enter one in setup.

Tracking and advertising

VLT Player contains no advertising, no third-party analytics or attribution SDKs, and does not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA). We do not track you across apps or websites and therefore do not present App Tracking Transparency prompts.

Children

VLT Player is not directed at children under 13. Because a playlist can expose adult categories from some providers, the app filters those categories by default; this filter can be changed in Settings.

Your rights

Since we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to export or delete. Deleting the app removes the credentials, preferences and viewing data stored on your device. To remove the synced copy, turn off iCloud for VLT Player in iOS Settings.

Cihazında kalanlar

Playlist bilgileri — zaten abone olduğun IPTV servisinin sunucu adresi, kullanıcı adı ve şifresi. Şifre, iOS Keychain'e yalnızca bu cihaz korumasıyla yazılır. İçeriğini yüklemek için doğrudan kendi sağlayıcına gitmesi dışında hiçbir yere gönderilmez.
Tercihler — tema, altyazı ve oynatma ayarları, meta veri dili.
İzleme verisi — favoriler, listem ve kaldığın yer bilgisi.

iCloud senkronizasyonu

iCloud'a giriş yaptıysan favorilerin, listen ve izleme geçmişin Apple'ın iCloud Key-Value Store'u üzerinden kendi Apple cihazların arasında senkronlanır. Bu veri senin Apple Kimliğin üzerinden cihazların arasında dolaşır; bize erişimi yoktur ve bize hiç ulaşmaz. iOS Ayarlar'dan VLT Player için iCloud'u kapatarak istediğin zaman durdurabilirsin.

Cihazın kiminle konuşuyor

IPTV sağlayıcın — kurulumda girdiğin sunucu. VLT, kanallarını, filmlerini ve yayın akışını çekmek için bilgilerini oraya gönderir. Sağlayıcınla bir bağlantımız yok ve bu trafiği görmüyoruz.
TMDB (themoviedb.org) — playlist'indeki yapımların afişlerini, özetlerini, puanlarını ve oyuncularını almak için. İstek yalnızca aranan başlığı ve seçtiğin meta veri dili ile bölgeyi içerir; seni veya hesabını tanımlayan hiçbir bilgi taşımaz.
Apple — abonelikler tamamen Apple tarafından StoreKit üzerinden işlenir. Ödeme bilgilerini hiç görmeyiz, Apple'dan kişisel bilgi almayız.
XMLTV yayın akışı adresi — yalnızca kurulumda kendin girersen.

Takip ve reklam

VLT Player'da reklam, üçüncü taraf analitik veya atıf SDK'sı yoktur ve Reklam Kimliği (IDFA) kullanılmaz. Seni uygulamalar ve siteler arasında takip etmediğimiz için App Tracking Transparency izni de istemiyoruz.

Çocuklar

VLT Player 13 yaş altı çocuklara yönelik değildir. Bazı sağlayıcıların playlist'i yetişkin kategorileri içerebildiğinden, uygulama bu kategorileri varsayılan olarak gizler; bu filtre Ayarlar'dan değiştirilebilir.

Haklarınız

Hakkında hiçbir veri tutmadığımız için dışa aktaracağımız veya sileceğimiz bir şey yok. Uygulamayı silmek, cihazındaki bilgileri, tercihleri ve izleme verisini kaldırır. Senkronlanan kopyayı kaldırmak için iOS Ayarlar'dan VLT Player için iCloud'u kapat.
